 Willesden Centre For Health

The new one-stop community healthcare facility replaces the 100-year-old Willesden Hospital and Pound Lane GP’s clinic. The challenge of ensuring there was no break in care for the community was overcome by designing the centre to take up only half the area occupied by the original hospital. Yet it provides a far greater and more accessible level of service.

The impressive array of facilities includes patient wards for older people and younger people with disabilities, outpatient and diagnostic services, a GP unit, a dental unit, community nursing, occupational, speech and physio-therapies, chiropody services, mental health services, women’s services, voluntary services and a children’s unit with audiology. There is also a café and a retail pharmacy.

Professional Sound Consultancy Ltd. were awarded the contract to design, install and commission induction loops throughout all areas of the hospital.

English National Ballet School

Professional Sound Consultancy Ltd. were awarded the contract to design, install and commission a dual channel infra red system for the performance studios at the English National Ballet School in London. The system included instrument microphones and radio microphones for teaching purposes. The dual channel system also allowed teaching commentary facility for foreign students.

Hertz, Head Office

Professional Sound Consultancy Ltd. designed, installed and commissioned an infra red conference system to the newly built Hertz Head Office in Uxbridge.

The system utilises fixed high powered microphones ensuring that conversation can be heard by deaf and hard of hearing people during meetings at the Head Office.
